Job Purpose and Impact

The Trade Compliance Excellence Junior Analyst will apply basic trade compliance knowledge to ensure compliance, routine cross border trade tasks. In this role, you will ensure compliance with country and foreign government regulations related to the international movement of goods with a focus on executing data collection, classification, global trade services legal control release and the controls established by the appropriate functional areas. Key Accountabilities

Execute controls to align with risk-control framework and guidance from centers of expertise to resolve cross-border issues.
Serve as subject matter expert for trade compliance, with support from senior team members, to inform partners of changing government regulations and trade practices.
Perform routine customs related information gathering and analysis by applying a basic understanding of qualification of preferential origin for materials accordingly to trade agreement in EMEA and cross-border trade compliance.
Support risk analysis and process improvements with senior team members, perform trade compliance reviews and post-transaction testing to adhere to defined processes and controls.
Prepare periodic reports related to trade compliance, metrics and dashboards and assist with internal and external reporting and analysis.
Identify and resolve issues in coordination with appropriate resources, and evaluate the need for internal escalation, support documentation, implementation and maintenance of processes which capture and mitigate significant customs benefits and risks.
Execute continuous improvement strategy across locations with limited oversight.
Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Other minimum qualifications may apply.
Preferred Qualifications SAP knowledge. Knowledge of foreign exchange controls. Minimum two years of experience in customs, import/export, operations and Free Trade Agreements (FTA)
